mrd-2.jpg - 7371 Bytes When tonight's sixth edition of Campus Thunder unveils upon the stage, Bridgeport will be , treated once more to the magic and mastery of the University of Bridgeport's super-dynamo, Albert A. Dicltason. Known as "Mr* D" to everyone and anyone connected with even the smallest task in theatrical productions at the University, Albert Dickason, a native of Montpelier, Indiana, has carbon-copied his past successes with "Campus Thunder "'53." A long, lean, energetic man, "Mr. D" has whipped together another gay, tuneful and peppy show, with one of the World's number one exponents of girl-glorifying for the theatre, Florenz Ziegfeld , given special recognition.

Having written, staged ond directed five previous "Thunder" presentations which have been neatly lucked away and tied with a big blue ribbon, the Lincolnish statured Al Dickason still has time for outside doings in the theatre, despite the time and energy-consuming fob of getting "Campus Thunder" molded and into a gleaming, glowing musical finished product.

During this past summer, Mr, Dickason was Director of Lucy Lortel's White Barn Theatre En Westport, Conn.; and also put the finishing touches to his new play "Mistress Liggins" which is being backed by the famous Broadway angel - Anthony B. Parrel!. The play, written especially for Academy Award winner ("Harvey") Josephine Hull, had a pre-Broadway tryout in upstate Connecticut in late summer and Is expected to reach the "big burg" next season.

The old axiom of lightning not striking in the same place twice is a falsehood in the case of Albert A. Dickason, Master "Thunder" Maker.
