in Church records since the 15th Century to the 20th in Afragola, Italy
and then to America to the present

DEDICATION
This book is dedicated to my children, Christine Martin and Damon Sepe
and to my grand-daughter Katherine Sepe and my grandsons, Patrick George Sepe and George Mitchell Sepe.

It is my gift to them so that they will forever know and understand their ancestry and family tree.

FOREWORD
I want to say that the idea to do the Family Tree for the “Sepe’s” started simply as a
collection of addresses and progressed into a gathering of names of aunts, cousins, and
siblings for the family that I knew in America. It later evolved into the family I did not know in
Italy. I did not realize at the time that the family origins were all concentrated in one town
in Italy, namely. “AFRAGOLA”.

There are hundreds of families in each of many countries throughout the world with the surname “SEPE”.
The “SEPE’s” are in Australia, Canada, South America, concentrated in Northeastern United States and of course in Italy.
There is at least one Sepe family in virtually every state of the USA.

The Sepe’s of Afragola, approximately 110 families today, are notable in Afragola
since at least the 16th Century which is when Church records are available and seem to indicate.
